About My Company

I am president of a small PR consultancy, Geben Communication. Drawing on nearly a decade of PR agency experience, I launched the company to help small- to mid-size businesses and nonprofits integrate traditional PR with online strategies. I signed a New York Times best-selling author in my first month, and haven’t looked back since. My clients have been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fortune Small Business, Entrepreneur Magazine, ReadWriteWeb, TechCrunch, and Web Worker Daily, as well as a host of niche lifestyle blogs. I also do a fair amount of speaking to organizations. I recently spoke on the PR 2.0 panel at BlogWorld, alongside SHIFT president Todd Defren and Edelman’s Dave Fleet — two of the most respected people in our industry. It was quite an honor! The fun details? I’m a die-hard sports fan — love it all, from baseball and football … to tennis majors and basketball. I enjoy cooking (though I don’t do it as often as I like!), my iPhone, indy movies, discovering new music, taste-testing nachos, social good and reading magazines.
